  1. Hello Jared,
I had the opportunity to see your illustration “Temple ruins”, I like it a lot.
I don’t know how you do that, is this a photo you are reworking with Photoshop for a video game ?
I would like to paint it with acrylics, let me do that ? I mention your name naturally if I sell the painting ( 60×75)
Thank you for your answer .

    • Thank you! Yes, you are free to make a painting of Temple Ruins and sell it. Let me know how it turns out.

  2. Hi Jared,
May I please have your permission to use this work (“Big Old Gnarly Tree”) as part of my own creation? I’m not an artist by any means but for fun I like to make composite pictures from a mixture of 2D and 3D art and models. The awesome tree in your artwork is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’m not going to sell what I make and I promise to include your name as the original copyright holder. I’ll send you a link to the finished item for you to approve if you’d like. It’s a beautiful picture and has just the right theme and feel for what I’m hoping to make.

    Thanks for your time.
    Adam.

    • Adam,
Go for it! Thank you for asking though…appreciate it. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.

      Jared

      • I’ve done a quick preliminary version: https://www.flickr.com/gp/adamneilward/899vN6 (a private link).

I think it still needs a bit of tweaking here and there to get the perspective right and I need to fix the emissive lighting on the side that faces the tree, but this is the general idea I’m going for. The inspiration for this fan art is a podcast I listen to called “Hello from the Magic Tavern”.

Please let me know what you think (good or bad, I don’t mind :)).

        Thanks.

        Adam.
